Join Us on Moore Square at 12:15 PM each Sunday

Our Heart
No judgment — just Jesus. Jesus still speaks to us through His Holy Spirit. At Christ’s Church at Moore Square we listen to His Spirit’s voice and we listen to those we meet who are in need. We seek to know their name and needs. Our goal is to see those in need the way Jesus sees them—with love and concern.
Each Monday night from 7:00 to 8:15 PM, we hold our Jesus Study at the Subway on Fayetteville Street. All are welcomed.
We take Jesus at his word: “Whatever you do for one of the least, you do for me.” His words fuel our work.
“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The lawyer answered, “The one who showed him mercy.” Jesus then said, “Go and do likewise.”
Come as you are and bring what you can. Be the hands and feet of love in action. Together, we can spark hope that reaches far beyond Moore Square and the bus station. Bring your heart and His love. Bring your children to witness how Jesus cares for all. Together, let’s reflect His love in the lives of those who need it most.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to BE the GOOD NEWS to our neighbors. Christ’s Church at Moore Square follows the early church model, where believers supported brothers, sisters, and neighbors as needs arose. This approach allows us to respond quickly to the needs of others. (As the Spirit prompts, we act—no committee meetings required.)
Receive. Give. Share Jesus.
We believe that Jesus meant for us to do for others what He did for all who came to Him: feed, shelter, comfort, heal, help, hear, teach, and disciple.
Jesus says, “Lend to others without expecting to get anything back. Give to everyone who asks. Do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. My Father is kind to the ungrateful. My Father is kind to the wicked. Therefore, be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” Luke 6:30-36, Matthew 5:42
Christ’s Church at Moore Square works in conjunction with Christian Devotions Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non profit. All donations are registered and records are retained for IRS purposes. That’s the business side of our work, but it’s your heart and love that we seek. Together, let’s shine the light of Jesus into the hearts of those living and sleeping in the shadows.

Whether you follow Jesus or simply have a heart for helping your neighbors, we invite you to become a part of this work. Every Sunday, we gather to share food, water, and connect with those striving to find stability and hope.
This is more than a mission—it’s a movement of compassion, meeting people where they are and reminding them they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
While some of us worship at Vintage Church, others gather at Church in the Woods or North Raleigh United Methodist Church.
The work of Jesus transcends congregations and denominations, uniting us in a shared desire to be a “neighbor.”
“Team Jesus” is in the park each Sunday from 12:15 to 1:00 PM, but anyone who wishes to help is welcome at any time. Some from Bayleaf Baptist come on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to pray with those in the park. Anytime is a good time to be Jesus to those in need—and we’re all in need in some way.
